Rare Flavours is a comic book series that follows the journey of Rubin Baksh, a demonic Rakshasa, as he embarks on a culinary adventure across India. Rubin, who has been hiding for centuries, is inspired by the death of Anthony Bourdain to come out of hiding and share his love for cuisine with the world. With the help of a struggling filmmaker named Mo, Rubin travels through India to document various aspects of cuisine and culture. However, his actions are not met with joy, as certain factions in the world of food are not pleased with his return. The series explores themes of culinary delight, cultural exploration, and the complexities of Rubin's character, blending adventure, crime fiction, and mystery. The artwork by Filipe Andrade adds a unique and visually stunning aesthetic to the narrative, capturing the sensory excess of Baksh and the city of Bandra
