Ultraman X Avengers is a 2024 four issue comic book miniseries published by Marvel Entertainment in collaboration with Tsuburaya Productions. Based on the popular television series Ultraman, the series features a crossover with Marvel’s iconic superhero team, The Avengers.
The miniseries is co written by Kyle Higgins and Mat Groom, with artwork by Francesco Manna, and serves as a direct sequel to The Mystery of Ultraseven, which was created by largely the same creative team. It originally ran alongside the manga series Ultraman: Along Came a Spider Man.
The story begins with Spider Man mysteriously missing from New York, an intergalactic invader appearing on Ultraman’s doorstep, and Earth’s kaiju behaving unpredictably. To confront this escalating cosmic threat, Ultraman joins forces with the Avengers. The series features a mix of familiar characters and new additions, including Miles Morales as Spider Man.
Ultraman X Avengers delivers large scale, action packed battles, with Ultraman facing Galactus while the Avengers take on Earth’s kaiju. The crossover celebrates both franchises, blending superhero spectacle with classic kaiju action for fans of Marvel and Ultraman alike.
